Software your business actually runs on.

We build custom business systems, web platforms and native mobile apps for companies that have outgrown their spreadsheets — then we keep building them as the business grows. Fifteen systems in production, and we support every one.

What we do

Four things, done properly.

Rather than a list of everything. If it isn't below, we'll tell you and point you at someone who does it better.

Custom business systems

The system that replaces the spreadsheet everyone quietly works around. Built to how your operation actually runs, with the awkward parts included rather than designed out.

PHPLaravelMySQLSQL Server

Mobile applications

Native iOS and Android, plus cross-platform where one codebase beats two. Offline behaviour, push, and the App Store and Play submissions handled for you.

SwiftKotlinJavaOffline sync

Web platforms & portals

Customer portals, operational dashboards and APIs — responsive from the first line, because most of your users arrive on a phone in a yard or a corridor.

LaravelJavaScriptREST APIsLeaflet

Desktop, agents & integration

Windows services, background agents and the connecting work that makes a new system talk to the accounting, payroll and stock systems you already pay for.

Sectors

Industries we already know the shape of.

We've shipped into these repeatedly. It means we arrive understanding the vocabulary, the compliance and the edge cases — rather than learning them on your budget. Client work is confidential; what follows is what we've built, not who we built it for.

Farming & agriculture

Field mapping and crop rotation, individual livestock records, grazing capacity in large stock units, camp rotation, resource scheduling against live weather, and yield and margin per hectare.

Property development

Staff, contractors and clients collaborating in one project plan, with roles assigned, activity logged in real time, and every step of the development programme under control.

Rental & property management

Tenant accounts, leases and portfolios, fault logging with timed escalation, automatic contractor assignment, vacancy lists and statements — with reports out to PDF and Excel.

Information technology

Device fleets managed remotely: live status across every machine, USB lock, screen lock, remote desktop, restart and remote wipe — including on hardware that has been offline for weeks.

Finance & billing operations

Automated billing across large and varied rate cards, cost and income reporting, break-even and margin modelling, and multi-year projections built for people who have to defend the numbers.

Logistics & distribution

Live vehicle and delivery tracking, remote task assignment with driver notifications, electronic proof of delivery, automatic outstanding-stock reconciliation and delivery notes emailed on completion.

Workforce & time management

Clock-in and clock-out from any device, shift planning, automatic timesheets with no forms to fill, productivity scoring against your own targets, and attendance reporting managers will actually use.

Field service & maintenance

Job cards raised and dispatched online, engineers assigned and tracked, time against each job recorded, and clients kept in the loop without anyone chasing a phone call.

Facilities & compliance

Checklist-driven inspection rounds so managers can evidence that the right procedures were followed — the difference between a defensible record and an injury claim.

Education & student housing

Automatic room allocation, occupancy maximised through the intake cycle, billing across mixed rate structures, and student self-service that removes the repetitive queries from your staff.

Communications & messaging

Bulk SMS and WhatsApp delivery at scale with list management, scheduling and delivery reporting, integrated into the systems that need to send.

Consumer & mobile

Consumer-grade apps with the polish that implies: live location and geofencing, push notification, offline behaviour, and App Store and Play releases handled end to end.

Our own platforms

We run our own software in production.

Alongside the client work, we build and operate our own SaaS products. They're the part of the portfolio we can show you in full — and running them changes how you build. You stop shipping things you wouldn't want to support at eight o'clock on a Friday.

How we work

You see something real before you commit.

No six-month reveal, no discovery invoice for a document nobody reads. We build a working proof of concept first, and we only talk commercials once you've used it.

We meet

A conversation with the people who'll actually use the system. We map how the work happens today, including the parts nobody has written down, and we're honest about whether software is the right answer at all.

Free. Book a slot below and we'll send a Google Meet invite.

We build a prototype

A working proof of concept of the core idea — not slides, not wireframes. Something you can click through, put in front of a colleague, and form a real opinion about before any long-term money is discussed.

Typically four to six weeks from the first meeting.

We agree commercials

Only once the prototype has proved the idea. Scope, monthly cost and term, set out plainly, with nothing hidden in a schedule at the back.

Monthly commitment, twelve or twenty-four months.

We build, and keep building

Regular releases you can test, with scope and progress visible throughout. As your business grows, the application grows with it — new modules, new users, new integrations, inside the same monthly arrangement.

Unlimited developer time. Fair use policy applies.

We support it properly

Maintenance and support are billed as part of the monthly commitment, not as a surprise afterwards. The people who built your system are the people who answer when you email.

Hosted with us, or on your own infrastructure.

Commercials

A partnership, not a project.

Fixed-price projects end the day they're delivered, and the software starts ageing that afternoon. We'd rather be on the hook for the next two years.

Monthly commitment

Twelve or twenty-four month terms, billed monthly. Predictable for your budget and long enough for us to build something that lasts rather than something that demos.

The application grows with you

New departments, new users, new integrations, new modules. As the business grows so does the software — that's the point of the arrangement, not a change request.

Maintenance and support included

Billed inside the monthly figure. Bug fixes, updates, security patching and the person on the other end of the email are all part of what you're paying for.

You own your data

Outright, with full exports and audit trails. Host with us or on your own infrastructure — the choice stays yours for the life of the agreement.

Unlimited developer time — fair use applies

You don't buy hours from us and you don't watch a clock. Within your monthly commitment, development capacity is unlimited under a fair use policy: sustained, sensible demand against an agreed roadmap. If you need a second team for a quarter we'll say so up front rather than quietly slipping the dates.

Offices

Two offices, one team.

The same engineers and the same standards on both sides, with local contracting and local support hours in each country.

Questions

The things people ask first.

How much does custom business software cost?

We work on a monthly commitment over twelve or twenty-four months rather than a single fixed price, because software that stops being developed starts ageing immediately. The monthly figure depends on scope and team size, and we only quote it after you've used the prototype — so you're agreeing to a number with real information rather than a guess. Maintenance, support and unlimited developer time under fair use are included in that figure.

What does "unlimited developer time" actually mean?

Within your monthly commitment you don't buy hours and you don't watch a clock. You bring us work against an agreed roadmap and we build it. The fair use policy exists so that sustained, sensible demand is covered and genuinely exceptional demand — a second team for a quarter, say — is discussed openly rather than quietly absorbed by slipping your dates.

Do we get a prototype before committing?

Yes, and that's the point. After the first meeting we build a working proof of concept of the core idea, typically within four to six weeks. You click through it and form a real opinion. Only then do we discuss commercials.

Do we own the code and the data?

You own your data outright, with full exports and audit trails, for the life of the agreement and after it. Code ownership is set out in the contract — we're happy for it to transfer to you, and most clients prefer we retain and maintain it as part of the monthly arrangement.

Can you integrate with the systems we already use?

Usually. Most of our work involves connecting a new system to accounting, payroll, stock or third-party services already in place. Where a documented API exists we integrate with it; where one doesn't, we build the bridge.

Do you build native iOS and Android apps, or cross-platform?

Both. Native in Swift and Kotlin where performance, offline behaviour or device hardware matter, cross-platform where a shared codebase is the better trade. We recommend one or the other during discovery rather than defaulting to whichever we happen to like.

Can you host the system, or does it run on our servers?

Either. We host and maintain platforms for clients in both South Africa and the UK, or we install on your infrastructure. Vanta, for instance, is designed to be self-hosted so monitoring data never leaves your network.

Do you work with clients outside South Africa and the UK?

Yes. Johannesburg and the UK are where we contract and support locally, but we deliver remotely for clients elsewhere.
